Most of you know, I’m a Tweeter on Twitter. Or a Twitterer on Twitter. Or simply a Twit. At any rate, when folks from Twitter meet up, it’s called a Tweetup. And one of my fave locals, Craig Agranoff (@Lapp) of WorstPizza.com, has added Pizza Tweetups to the schedule. There was a Pizza Tweetup on Tuesday night in the Design District at Pizza Volante.
There are usually 50-100 folks at Pizza Tweetups and this one was no exception. There were folks that I love to see anytime, but then there were folks that I’ve been following forever and had never met– like @brianbreslin, @alexdc, @jamimiami, @cristnabls, @gopalo, @miamicheap, and @latinburger.
Pizza Volante rolled out the red carpet, with endless replenishing of pizza and salad. I got a side of meatballs and they were delish! They also had a very interesting drink selection, including one of my newest obsessions–Mr Q Cumber, a carbonated cucumber flavored drink. I loved it!
I’m convinced that South Florida has the best Social Media community in the world. So many cool folks, always willing to help, partner, collaborate. I was even involved in the planning of something really cool. It all came together over a plate of garlic bread. Ladies, stay tuned–YOU ARE GONNA LOVE IT! More to come…
