This past Saturday, I hosted Chevy Cupcake Crawl in Miami. It was a blast! We met at Maroone Chevrolet and while the cool chicks from Chevy (Stephanie, Angie and Melissa) got waivers signed and handed out cute Chevy Cupcake Crawl aprons, the participants got to know each other. Finally, we were shown to the cars. There was an amazing yellow Camaro, a huge Suburban, a couple Equinox and a Traverse. We all took turns riding and driving.
Our first stop was Divine Delicacies. They bought out trays of cupcakes and the eating began. The mango flavor was my favorite from there. We got back in the cars and headed to Cupcakes Nouveau. This was a sweet spot! They had done up small, clear boxes for each of us with 6 minis cupcakes. They also told us about their business and their experience on The Food Network. They were very gracious hosts.
On the way to Misha’s Cupcakes, we encountered a bit of rain, but the Chevys took it like champs. Oh, and did i mention that Onstar directed us to each stop? They are so wonderful! So, we get to Misha’s where they brought out more than 100 cupcakes for us. They also had the favorite cupcake of the day–Cookie Dough. YUM MY!
The sun had returned and we headed to Buttercream Cupcakes. Wow wee! We were giddy by this point! Sensory overload started with all the neat stuff in the different cars, but then to get out and cram your face with cupcakes? More than our hearts could stand… Buttercream was great too–they even offered coffee to go with the treats.
The final stop was LA Sweets in Sunset Place. They offered a s’more cupcake that was out of this world. They also had an apple pie flavor. WHEW!! Eddie and Lettie at LA Sweets had also done a huge cupcake that incorporated the Chevy Cupcake Crawl logo. It was so cute and pink! Here, they ran down the list of flavors and we each got to choose up to 3 minis.
We also took advantage of the spacious lounge at LA Sweets. Chevy gave prize boxes for special tweeters. The boxes were filled with baking supplies–how fitting!! I gave an award for best team spirit and Chevy presented me with the Chevy Cupcake! And just like that it was over. We climbed back in for one last ride back to the dealership, where Chevy handed out more gifts. What a day!
If you didn’t get in on this one, stayed tuned. I have a sneaky suspicion that there will be more Cupcake Crawls!
