Last Thursday, The Children’s Place hosted media in their Miami International Mall store. They wanted to introduce the new things just in for winter. Boy did they have some cute stuff! ALMOST made me want to have a baby again–NOT! They have a HUGE selection of very cool wardrobe pieces for our pint sized family members and friends. Sizing is from newborn to size 14. What impressed me the most is that it is FASHONABLE stuff! Gone are the huge bows and “baby” looking clothing from the past. Instead, there are ruched leggings, faux fur boleros, and sequined velvet jumpers. Boy, times sure have changed!
There is also a new jewelry line, and a makeup line, called BFF (Beauty for Fun). When first told about it, I initially raised my eyebrows. However, I immediately relaxed after seeing it. The “makeup” consists of non toxic nail polishes, candy flavored chap sticks and the such.
Another thing that struck me is how nice the employees are at The Children’s Place. They are helpful without hovering and without that condescending side eye that retail employees sometimes have. I honestly like shopping at the Children’s Place, though I usually patronize the Hollywood location. They also do a brisk business on the web. Be sure to sign up for their email list, I get regular notices of sales and coupons.
