Last Saturday afternoon, Macy’s in Dadeland Mall hosted a great event for women who need career fashion advice. The event included tunes spun by a live DJ, and light bites for everyone! Macy’s own team of personal shoppers were also on hand to give mini consultations.
The highlight of the afternoon was a fashion show hosted by Anetta Nowosielska, fashion editor of Florida International Magazine. I was absolutely DELIGHTED to see that Macy’s had included both women of color and plus sized models in the show.
After you got all the fashion advice to use in the workplace, there was even a career strategist, Doug McGuirk of the Anthony Robbins Company, to give one on one advice on your career or lackthereof. FAB TIME! Check out the slide show!
