I love baseball. I didn’t discover it until I moved to South Florida, as DC didn’t have a baseball team at that time. But, soon after moving here, baseball crept into my blood. I LOVE watching baseball, especially in person. Doesn’t matter if my team, the Florida Marlins, wins or loses. I go through all the ups and downs with them. I was with them when they won the World Series. I’m with them now, during a rough patch. I just love the game. There is NOTHING like sitting in the stands and watching Major League Baseball. And eating. Stadium food in South Florida is unlike stadium food anyplace else. What other ballpark can boast of their game day arepas or media noches? However, baseball simply isn’t baseball without a hot dog. Or three.
National Deli, based here in Florida, is the Official Hot Dog of the Marlins’ training camp, as well as the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the St Louis Cardinals’ training camp. They even provide hot dogs for the Florida Panthers, Hard Rock Live, the Miami Seaquarium, and Jungle Island, among others. This is a GREAT dog!
And now, National Deli dogs are available in your local Publix Super Markets in South Florida. They offer their own brand of mustard to accompany it.
“Moms or Dads firing up the grill on a weekend, at a company picnic, family reunion, or on a holiday can now enjoy their favorite arena hot dog without the price of admission.“–Rick Bruskin, President of National Deli
Yeah, Rick. I hear ya. Except I don’t mind paying the price of admission. I love baseball.
Disclosure: National Deli provided samples of their products to me, in order to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
