Recently, my friends at Mayors Jewelers invited me to a private cocktail event that was being held to celebrate the recently announced partnership between Gucci and the Latin GRAMMY Awards. The event featured an exclusive preview of the special edition Latin GRAMMY watch and jewelry collection, as well as many other Gucci items. I was WOWed!
It was held at the very FAB AE District Gallery in the Miami Design District. Guests could browse a VERY cool Music Through Time exhibit that was completely dedicated to the Latin GRAMMYs and showcased a journey through history of the Latin GRAMMYs. The exhibit was brought to Miami straight from a suite at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, where it was showcased during the Latin GRAMMY Awards.
The Latin Recording Academy presenting the special edition Gucci Timepiece and Bracelet to young emerging artists that had been nominated for “Best New Artist”. The timepiece is one of Gucci’s first-ever digital ones, called the I-GUCCI. LOVED IT. The leather bracelet is in a glamorous black color. The special edition timepiece and jewelry collection will be available in January 2012, at select Mayors.
