Disclosure: I was provided a Sawgrass Mills gift card for shopping, in exchange for documenting my experience. All opinions are my own.
So, a few weeks ago my friends at Sawgrass Mills Mall invited me to cross 5 names off of my gift list, only using stores in the mall. Say what? WHAT? I rose to the challenge. In fact, I had the audacity to think it would be easy! I mean–it’s the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in the country. Of course, I can find 5 gifts, right? This’ll be a piece of cake. Except it wasn’t. What I didn’t count on was there being SO MANY choices. I had such a hard time choosing. Here’s how it went…My first stop was the kate spade Store, where I was totally overwhelmed with the choices:
I was looking for a gift for one of the Young Fashionistas in my life. She always looks like she stepped right out of one of the fashion magazines. But, the last time that I was with her, I noticed that she uses her cell as a watch. She has no idea that she was missing a terrific fashion opportunity. Besides that, her high school doesn’t allow students to use the phone during the school day, so how does she know what time it is? Here’s what I selected:
BOOM! One down. Next up–a neighbor who is forever touching up her makeup. She’s always flipping down the visor mirror in the car or excusing herself from the dinner table to be sure that her face is flawless. I knew I wanted something for her that was makeup related. So, I scooted over to the bareMinerals store. Here’s what I came up with:
Then I started searching for something for one of my dear Teal Sisters. She is alongside me, battling Ovarian Cancer. I knew that I wanted something in teal and the Bloomingdale’s Outlet had these super cute bracelets. SCORE:
For the Tech Diva who carries around a bag of gadgets, I wanted to get a stylish cover for her iPad because the one she has now has truly seen better days. There were quite a few selections in Tory Burch–here are some of the choices:
Finally, I needed something for a very good friend who is a Road Warrior. She’s in the air more than she’s on the ground! As a fellow traveler, I love pieces that travel well and have multi-uses. For her, I selected this sweater in the DKNY Company Store.
Mission accomplished in about 3 hours, including lunch! How’d I do?
Well, because I know that I now have you all excited about shopping at Sawgrass Mills Mall, I’m pleased to announce that I’ve partnered with them to give away a $100 Sawgrass Mills gift card!
