Lunch at Bonefish Grill

Disclosure:  This is a sponsored post.  Bonefish Grill facilitated this review by providing a complimentary meal.  All opinions are my own.

I simply can NOT think of Bonefish Grill without salivating over the thought of their signature Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer.  So, when I got an email inviting me over for a complimentary meal, I knew it would start with a Bang!  And since I’d be dining at their Kendall, Florida location, I figured I may as well share the meal with someone that I hadn’t seen in a while, Alexis of The Exhausted Mom and CMAP Media.  What a fun time!

As planned, we ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and started chatting.  I think the server came over more than a few times before we were ready to order.  It’s hard to read over a menu when you haven’t seen someone that you ADORE in a while.

We also check out the decor.  This location, in the Kendall Square shopping center, is newly remodeled and they definitely went with a more upscale look–complete with a separated bar area.

So, I also got the Corn Chowder that came with lump crab meat..  It was divine–piping hot, creamy and came with a hint of bacon.  YES.

That was really a tough act to follow aka I didn’t know what to order for my entree!  I finally decided on the Maryland Style Crab Cakes with red remoulade sauce.  I got them to throw some Mac and Cheese on the plate–just for good measure.  YUMMMMM!

While I was feasting out, Alexis was digging into the Shrimp Pad Thai.  I wanted to taste it but she wouldn’t let me!

For dessert, we had the Jamaican Coconut Pie.  This was DELISH–coconut custard pie with a rum sauce and whipped cream!  So delicious that we literally scarfed it down before I realized that I hadn’t taken a pic!  Good grief.

Had we settled on meeting for dinner, as opposed to lunch, we could have tried some of their Fall Specials, like:

  • Saucy Shrimp, featuring sautéed shrimp in a lime tomato garlic sauce with Kalamata olives and Feta cheese
  • Swordfish + Pumpkin Ravioli, with feta, crispy onions and truffle butter
  • Fresh Stone Crab Claws, a Florida delicacy, a full pound, cracked + chilled served with a classic mustard sauce.

You can find Bonefish Grill restaurants all over the country.  Their menu offers everything from Wood-Grilled Fish and menu categories including Wood-Grilled Steak and Chops, Signature Starters and Bowls such as Spicy Tuna served with premium grade sesame-seared Ahi Tuna and passion fruit salsa to give your taste buds an unforgettable experience.

Eat up!
