Max’s Harvest Farm to Fork

Remember when I recently attended the 20th Anniversary celebration for Max’s Grille in Boca?  I told you then that restauranteur Dennis Max was opening a new spot in Delray Beach, called Max’s Harvest.  Well, last week, I went to a preview at Max’s Harvest.  What a great place AND a great concept!  The restaurant features fare that is harvested and delivered straight from the producers–local farmers.

I met one of the farmers at the preview, Farmer Jay of Farmer Jay’s Organics.  Jay grows chemical free veggies, right up in Boca.  So, Max’s Harvest actively searches out local farmers who produce veggies, chickens, etc and crafts their menu around it.  And the food was DYNAMITE!  The Free Range Deviled Eggs with Chives and Truffle Sea Salt were incredible, as was the Lamb Ravioli.  WOOT!

I plan to spend a lot of time there.  How could I not with my bestie, Peter Stampone, managing the place and my other bestie, Chris Miracolo, as the head chef??  The evening was great.  I hung with Victoria Duke of Academy of Glam, Zip Zip of Champagne Living and Jenn Tormo of Boca Life Magazine.  And, did I mention that Max’s Harvest is DIRECTLY across the street from Lady Lash Studios?  I can get my lashes done and then fill my belly, all in one fell swoop!
