According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, heart disease is still the leading cause of death for women. And tomorrow night, the Miami International Mall is hosting an event to remind and motivate women to take action to reduce their personal risks. The Miami community is invited to the 3rd Annual “Miami International Mall Goes Red” on Thursday, February 21 from 6 – 8 pm. The event features a high-energy “All Red” cocktail-fashion show(begins at 7pm) with looks from mall retailers like bebe, Cache, Camille La Vie and more along with a silent auction (proceeds benefit the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s The Heart Truth ® Initiative). This important cause brings heart disease awareness to the forefront and helping to raise funds for research into the cause, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease in women.
Healthy living enthusiast Jenny Patrizia aka the “Sexy Nutritionist”, will serve as the event emcee. Guests can enjoy cocktails and beverages, along with light bites.
We are so pleased to once again present this evening of fashion, entertainment, and most importantly, awareness, to the local community. The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s mission to raise awareness about women and heart disease naturally resonates with our shoppers, and the 3rd Annual Miami International Mall Goes Red is a fun and stylish way to celebrate prevention and wellness.–Sara Valega, Director of Marketing, Miami International Mall
