I spent last week in Cancun, courtesy of the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort and the Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau. Can you say FAB time???? I have to admit, I was not totally in love with Moon Palace calling itself “the quintessential family resort.” I envisioned my relaxing Mexican retreat being recorded to a soundtrack of whining, crying and random episodes of discipline. Nope, not my kinda party. However, I MUST say, with all due apologies to Palace Resorts, there was absolutely NONE of that. The Moon Palace is HUGE (more than 2400 rooms), and divided into multiple resorts in one. I was lodged in the very FAB Moon Grand, the quiet, secluded section.
But while my room was in Moon Grand, I was free to roam the entire property. Oh, and did I mention that it’s an ALL INCLUSIVE resort? That means that I could eat at any of the 14 restaurants, including the steak house, the Italian buffet, the Mexican buffet, the poolside Taco bar, and more. I could also partake of any of the 11 bars and lounges. Let’s not forget the 7 outdoor pools and 6 swim up bars! WHEW!
And can I mention the jacuzzi in my EVERY room? And the FAB bathroom??? And the huge sitting/lounge area on my balcony!
As you can see, the property is GORGEOUS! Stay tuned this week for more on my stay, including swimming with the whale sharks and Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy!
Disclosure: I was a guest of Palace Resorts and the Cancun CVB for this trip. They covered my travel, lodging, meals and activities. All opinions are my own.
